The Influence of Teamwork and Work Ethic on Employee Performance at the Agricultural Mechanization Assembly and Modernization Center (BRMP Mektan) in Tangerang Regency

This research examines whether teamwork and work ethic influence employee performance at the Center for Agricultural Machinery Assembly and Modernization (BRMP Mektan) in Tangerang Regency, both individually and jointly. A quantitative design was applied to data obtained from 85 respondents. The analysis included instrument validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression, correlation analysis, determination coefficients, and hypothesis tests using t and F statistics. The findings indicate that teamwork significantly and positively affects employee performance. The corresponding model is Y = 19.540 + 0.504X₁, with a correlation coefficient of 0.686, a determination coefficient of 47.0%, and a t-value of 8.582, exceeding the t-table value of 1.989. Work ethic likewise shows a positive and significant effect, represented by Y = 18.092 + 0.540X₂, with a correlation coefficient of 0.694, a determination coefficient of 48.2%, and a t-value of 8.788, which is above 1.989. When teamwork and work ethic are tested simultaneously, both variables significantly contribute to employee performance. The multiple regression equation is Y = 6.705 + 0.406X₁ + 0.439X₂, the coefficient of determination is 77.1%, and the F-value is 137.989, higher than the F-table value of 2.72. These results support rejection of H₀ and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis.
